 We’re not arrogant about our success but we are very proud of it. We are committed to helping our clients design and deliver successful transformation so we work with them to turn strategy into action, establish a programme and project management culture and provide out of the ordinary delivery. We are looking for upper quartile consultants with experience in our core sectors (FS, Health/Pharma, Transport, TMT and Central Government) who are proven experts in business transformation. Typical client challenges you might find yourself working on include ICT consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, new product development, outsourcing, defining and delivering an Operating Model, Capital Programme Delivery – all the big, complex, fascinating, get your teeth stuck into kind of programmes. Sometimes it’s sleeves rolled up delivery, sometimes it’s strategy translation and sometimes we focus on improving the client’s ability to do those things for themselves. We have grown steadily since the company was formed in early 2004 and have continued to grow through the economic downturn; we are now ~80 strong. We recruit only former ‘big firm’ consultants with a minimum of three years experience. We punch above our weight in many areas. We regularly compete against the big name firms and win – clients choose us for our top quality consultants, our specific experience in Business Transformation, our delivery focus and our value for money. The whole firm embarks upon a two-day ‘escape’ once each quarter to review progress and plan the future of Moorhouse. We are huge advocates of professional development – our programme includes external, accredited qualifications, internal training sessions (at least twice per month) plus regular knowledge-sharing ‘marketplaces’ where consultants can swap deliverables, ‘hints and tips’ and assignment stories. Our team members are involved in all aspects of running the firm, from business strategy to recruitment and from marketing to designing our office space. A Senior Consultant at Moorhouse typically has 3-5 years relevant consulting experience, at least 3 of those with a `big name’ consulting firm and can earn a cash package of circa £80,000 per annum.
