Recruiter briefing -- What awaits Management Consultancy recruiters in 2010?

Webinar on 17th March still available; 12th March event now closed to new bookings

Top-Consultant.com's annual conference for management consultancy recruiters is a must-attend event in the recruitment calendar. Presentations address many of the most pressing topics and challenges affecting consulting recruiters, whilst as a networking opportunity the conference is second to none...

PLEASE NOTE: It is no longer possible to book places at our London conference; however a shorter webinar briefing on 17th March will provide many of the same insights. Registration for this is via the following weblink.

This year is the 9th such event we have hosted and the 2010 conference promises to be really special. This year's session comes at a time when there are two really significant topics to be addressed:

1) In the wake of the most painful consulting recession on record, a question on everyone's lips is what kind of a hiring upturn can we expect in 2010? Which practice areas will be recruiting most actively and how will activity levels compare with reference points from the previous decade? Which types of candidates will be in greatest demand? Delegates will be the first to see unique data derived from a comprehensive survey of recruiters in the UK consulting market (if you have yet to participate in our survey of consulting recruiters you may submit your responses here).

2) No less hot a topic than the recession itself is the omnipresent issue of social media and the degree to which this is transforming the recruitment landscape. Will recruiters lacking a coherent social media strategy be punished in 2010, or is the role of social media overblown? This year's conference will see hard data presented for the very first time, demonstrating the degree to which consulting candidates are - or are not - turning to social media for the advancement of their careers. It will also see the audience addressed by Bill Boorman, recognised social media recruitment expert.

Footnote: Recruitment Awards

Besides revealing the latest trends and success factors in consultancy recruitment, the annual Recruiter Event also provides the opportunity to recognise and reward those individuals - and those companies - who are most highly regarded by the increasingly fickle candidate population.
A short awards ceremony will therefore also take place at the 12th March event.
